New Members

You can apply to be an

individual member
(€ 110 per year)

or junior member
(€ 30 per year) 
if you are under the age of 32

There are many membership benefits, all of which are valid throughout the year of subscription (including access to Clinical Nutrition).

Membership starts on the day your subscription is accepted, and ends on the 31st of December of the same year. A renewal e-mail will be sent to you at the end of the year.

If you do not remember your password, you can always make a request with the forgotten password button to have the password automatically send to your E-mail address. The password will be sent to the E-mail address presently registered in ESPEN.

- Members who have signed up on-line, your E-mail address is your username
- Older members please use your Last Name as username

If you wish to change your e-mail address and/or postal address, please modify it within the member section.

Membership Fees 2012



Fees for ESPEN membership, with access to the array of benefits below, have remained stable for several years. Please note that considering the increase of general costs, and as approved during the ESPEN General Assembly held in Gothenburg last September 2011, the ESPEN membership fee will slightly increase in 2012. The new membership fee will be :

  • 110 EUR for Individual members
  • 80 EUR for blockmembers
  • 30 EUR for junior members

 

 

Membership benefits include:

  • access to international high standards courses such as the annual ESPEN Course in Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism, the ESPEN Advanced Course in Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism or the Intensive course in Tracer Methodology in Metabolism in Maastricht
  • reduced rates for the brand-new LLL Live Modules – these courses aim at a certificate in clinical nutrition and/or becoming a teacher in clinical nutrition in your own country
     
  • 20% discount on registration at the main annual congress in the field
  • a free online subscription to the best European journal in clinical nutrition and metabolism. Members will also receive the printed version of the entire subscription year. That means, no matter what month you register for ESPEN membership, you will receive all the journal's Vol. of that year , if subscription is made before December 1st.
  • the ESPEN Newsletter
  • access to research grants
  • access to the ESPEN young investigator awards
  • access to travel fellowships for communications at the annual congress
  • the best way to be part of an organized action to promote recognition of clinical nutrition

If you are a member of a national PEN society that has signed a blockmembership agreement with ESPEN, you are entitled to a special rate of € 70 per year that gives you the same benefits as individual members. Your national PEN society will bill you for your national + ESPEN membership and will then pay ESPEN. You cannot repay your membership fees online on this web site.
